The Project
This was one of my most challenging yet rewarding projects to date. Bedu Tours required a design for their new business with a highly optimised user journey to really drive conversions. They also wanted it to be deeply integrated with their booking service that updates both ways – the website needed to list the tours added via their booking system whilst also taking bookings and sending the information to their booking platform.
Starting with just a logo and a palette of colors I was tasked with designing and developing a site to engage and convert. I worked closely with the Bedu Tours team to fine tune the design to really speak to their target demographic and then set about bringing the designs to life with a custom built WordPress theme.
Working with Michael has been a great experience. We’ve already collaborated with him on several projects and will definitely work with him again. We built two websites that we’re really proud of, and Michael was supportive and engaged at every step of the process. His experience with tourism websites made a HUGE difference for us. The Result
Despite an incredibly tight deadline and having to work with an untested API I the website was completed on time and within budget. Through strategic planning and meticulous execution, I crafted an optimised conversion funnel and user journey, guiding visitors seamlessly towards bookings.
The integration of a secure payment gateway, along with the seamless connection to their booking platform, ensured a frictionless experience. This streamlined system not only boosted conversions but also enhanced customer engagement.
To say the project was a success is an understatement. The site continues to perform well, even years after its launch. Additionally, the success of this project led to the opportunity to build another site for them, further solidifying our ongoing partnership.
